Vehicles
Dukes of Hazzard - Cadillac

Boss Hogg's vehicle of choice is a white stock 1969-1970 Cadillac Seville convertible with steer horns on the bonnet, and 'BOSS 1' on the number plates. Naturally, it has to have all mod cons, so it has a CB in the back, and most importantly, a car phone. Despite Boss never actually making use of it, the car also has a towing hitch on the back. Cadillacs are built for show, not towing things, after all. (Well this one is, anyway).

Dukes of Hazzard - Cooter's Tow Truck

Probably the most important vehicle in Hazzard, Cooter's tow-truck has hauled just about every other vehicle in Hazzard County. Of course, it's not always the same truck that does the hauling. Cooter's been through a 60s Chevy flatbed truck, a brown 70s Chevy with a wooden bumper, a yellow Ford with custom tow bed (the towing arm was situated on the rear bumper), a grey and white 70s Chevy pickup (no towing arm), and most familiar, the blue and white Chevy and Ford trucks, both with towing arms on the beds.

Dukes of Hazzard - Dixie

Dixie is Daisy's 1980 CJ Series Jeep, which was given to her by millionaire C.J. Holmes as a bridesmaid gift, her Roadrunner having been wrecked.
Dixie did has a golden eagle on the top of the bonnet, and did have golden eagle script on the side of the bonnet, however, the golden eagle script was later removed and personalised 'Dixie' script was put on both sides of the bonnet. The steel doors (which used to sport the same Dixie script and flowers) were also removed.
The number plate, unsurprisingly, reads 'DIXIE'.
Although Dixie doesn't receive anywhere near the attention of the General Lee, she is still regarded as one of the Duke family.

Dukes of Hazzard - General Lee

The General Lee is the real star of The Dukes of Hazzard. The orange 1969 Dodge Charger is the racer belonging to Bo and Luke after they bought it in its wrecked state from a junkyard. The boys had been looking for a car that could house the racing engine they had built, and once they had found the ex-getaway car, they took it to Cooter, who helped them install the engine, fix the chassis and shell up, weld the doors shut (it is a racer after all), and paint it orange (the only colour Cooter had). The General Lee (as named by Uncle Jesse) sports a racing '01' on its doors (Bo maintained that when you begin from nothing, the number one is where it's at), and a confederate flag on its roof. Of course, there's that unmistakable horn too, which plays the first two bars of 'Dixie'.
The General is the fastest, noisiest, best-handling racer in Hazzard County, winning the Dukes countless races and keeping them well ahead of Rosco and Boss Hogg, which is why the General is more than a car, it is a member of the Duke family, and a legend in Hazzard.

Dukes of Hazzard - Jesse's Pickup

Jesse's pickup truck is a white 1978 Ford F-100, which Jesse has driven for years, and it shows too, being covered in dirt, and of course, not being the fastest vehicle in Hazzard. Still, it's a reliable old thing that moves when it has to, and that's what counts.

Dukes of Hazzard - Patrol Car

Despite there only being three lawmen in Hazzard County (Rosco, Enos and Cletus), between them, they have seen the demise of more squad cars than the whole Duke family have had hot dinners, and nearly always when trying to apprehend Bo and Luke.
Despite there being a number of different models, the most commonly used by the lawmen are the Dodge Monaco and the Plymouth fury.
Each different car sports white paint with a Sheriff star and livery on its front doors, front fenders and rear quarters, and the Hazzard County livery beneath those stars.
The cars have Blackwall tyres with miniature moon hubcaps, and are fitted with a PA system and CBs. Naturally, they have the police lights situated on the roof, although by the time their drivers have finished, these lights could be anywhere: in the road behind them, in a ditch, in the river, up a tree, anywhere!
